Nine Mile's latest effort completely erases any genre boundaries...they succeed effortlessly, incorporating pedal steel, banjo and upright piano into their plaintive soungwriting. - Exclaim Magazine Nine Mile has evolved consistently for the past eight years, from acclaimed duo to 7-piece band. The root of all of its formations is Nine Mile frontman, and songwriter DAri Pouyat the glue holding Nine Mile to task. In 2004, the Nine Mile Duo comprised of DAri and long-time collaborator, percussionist/drummer Dave Tolley began to tour internationally, honing their sound and releasing two albums, Close to Touch and The Almanac EP.
