Jennifer Louise Taylor with the wonderfully talented Ken Hall. Saturday, August 1st from 8 to 10 p.m. at the Paisley Restaurant on Esquimalt Rd. behind the Tim Horton's at Head Street.) Come on down for a bevvy and/or dessert. There is no cover charge. Jennifer Louise Taylor has toured Canada and the US, and been a guest studio musician for CBC national radio. From the acoustic roots tradition, her songs weave a tapestry, both fun and meaningful. Focus Magazine describes Jennifer Louise Taylor's "velvety contralto [as] magical." Ken Hall is a prominent figure in the Victoria music scene. He studied composition at the Royal Conservatory in Toronto.
