. Saturday, May 16th IMU presents JAKALOPE w/ special guests NIM VIND & JOSEPH BLOOD @ The Bourbon, 50 West Cordova . Early show 8-11pm sharp / Tickets: Zulu, Scratch & at the door. JAKALOPE - was first spawned in the creative mind of world-renowned producer and mixer, Dave "Rave" Ogilvie (Nine Inch Nails, David Bowie, Skinny Puppy, Marilyn Manson). His conceptual aim was towards a new musical hybrid rooted in industrial music but flowing smoothly between searing rock and melodic pop. With new singer Chrsytal Leigh on board (Perfect Strangers, Closing Iris), their latest CD "Delicious" has graduated from the sheet-metal bubblegum blueprint of their first two albums into something slinkier and more substantial.
