Event Description

Mexico City's Maskatesta is a talented, high energy ska band that have been tearing up the tour routes all over Mexico and Central America. In 2006 they recorded their first record, "The Maskatonian All Star & Friends." The record became an essential part of the ska scene in Mexico and spurred other compilations with bands such as Panteon Rococo, Inspector and Salon Victoria - the latter of the two played at Victoria's 9th Annual Ska Festival. In August 2008 Maskatesta was invited to record their second album "What do you Want Me to Say to You?" in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The album included collaborations with members of Los Fabulosos Cadillacs and Karamelo Santo. Friday, July 10th is set to be one of the busiest days of the festival as there are three shows.
