Hayfa Makes Music is an energetic collaboration of guitar-fiddle beats coming from Vancouver, BC. Inspired by adventure, movement, silliness and LOVE, the band’s music spurs audience involvement and invokes the most creative of spirits. Hayfa Makes Music's blend of rich lyrics, energetic beats, and foot-stomping fiddle weaves together folk, reggae, funk and rock. The music is born in an intricate patchwork of experiences from travels throughout West Africa, Asia, and North America, delivering thought-provoking, contagious music. The three-piece band includes classically trained and charming violinist, Alexandra Taub, whose 15 years of experience has developed her unique mixture of Celtic, classical, and hip-hop violin.
