. Friday, April 18th I.M.U. presents PAINTED CITIES CD Release Party w/ special guests LEMMING DYNASTY, The WIND WHISTLES & The GENTLE INFIDELS @ The Railway Club, 579 Dunsmuir Street . Doors 9pm / $10 PAINTED CITIES - In a time when most music feels repetitive and colourless, Painted Cities are dedicated to creating compelling, inventive songs. Formed in late 2006, they quickly realized they had found a magic chemistry and began writing songs immediately, developing a signature sound and sharing it with local audiences. Their infectious, danceable tunes have been heard at venues ranging from music festivals to all-ages community halls to the grittiest bars of downtown Vancouver.
