on sale 3/9 @ 10am Once upon a time, giants walked the Earth. And none were more gigantic, for sheer noise and influence, than Dinosaur Jr. A trio composed of J. Mascis, Lou Barlow and drummer Murph, the band released records of uncompromising, ear-bleeding guitar freakouts and lustrous melody before members went their separate ways. While Mascis continued on with the Dinosaur Jr. name and then, eventually, formed J. Mascis and the Fog, and Barlow went on to form the indie-rock stalwarts Sebadoh, the name and dream that was Dinosaur Jr. has never been forgotten.
