First generation Canadian with Nordic and Slavic roots, born on Nigigoonsiminekaaning and Couchiching traditional territory, currently residing within the traditional lands of the W̱SÁNEĆ (Saanich), Lkwungen (Songhees), and Wyomilth (Esquimalt) peoples.

Currently focused on biospheric, site specific and telepresence projects, including multidisciplined audiovisual installations, performance, concert music, dance collaborations, workshops and experiments in presence through local and international live and networked initiatives, and exploring telematic performance practice with the Avatar Orchestra Metaverse. Recent projects include residencies and commissions for Contact Contemporary Music (Toronto), Roles4Women at Factory Theatre (Toronto) Centre Experimentale de Music (Saguenay, Quebec), Media Net (Victoria), Burn Down the Capital (Toronto), and choreographer Lori Hamar (Victoria).

Influenced by the inner and outer soundscapes, studies in 20th Century avant garde music, South Indian Classical music, Deep Listening, electric drones, Contact Improvisation, and research in world music, including Gamelan, Joiking, music of the Cree, Inuit and Ojibwe. Has collaborated and/or performed with James Tenney, Pauline Oliveros, John Oswald, Stelarc, Christine Duncan, Gordon Monahan, Ellen Fullman, David Mott, and others.

Has worked extensively (as composer/performer) with collaborative music/dance projects, including Toronto Independent Dance enterprise, choreographers Paula Ravitz, Denise Fujiwara, Terrill Maguire, Grant Strate, Menaka Thakkar, Mia Blackwell, Lori Hamar, Jung-Ah Chung and others.
