On sale Aug 31 @ 10am Arts and Crafts signee Jason Collett, was a solo artist before he was asked to join Broken Social Scene after that band’s breakthrough album You Lost it in People. A linchpin of the Toronto indie scene thanks to his community-building, star-studded songwriting series Radio Mondays, Collett was already a well-respected musician whose 2003 album Motor Motel Love Songs was critically acclaimed (the New York Times recommended it for “disillusioned Ryan Adams fans everywhere” and Now Magazine compared it favourably to Ron Sexsmith’s best work).
