Loving Spoonful and the Memorial Centre Farmers' Market (MCFM) are excited to announce a shiny new event for the community: a Block Party to build community around a celebration of local food, taking place on Sunday, August 25, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, at the Memorial Centre (303 York St.). In place of the popular Night Market, an event which has been a staple of community fun for the past few years, this year’s Block Party promises to bring even more excitement and enjoyment to the market day. The event will feature: Live DJs and Dancing All Day! DJ THIRDPLACE from 9:00 to 11:30 AM DJ LK from 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM Regular Market Hours with a Special Twist Market-goers will enjoy their favorite local vendors with added festive flair.
