Kingston’s multi-instrumentalist, Doug Vanderhorden plays The Cove on Thursday, June 6th, 2024 from 5-8pm. People love him! Classic Rock and Folk at its best! Residing in Kingston since 1993, Doug has been performing music on many different levels. After getting out of the Canadian Armed Forces, as a percussionist, Doug began to perform as a singer and guitar player for a local band. After 15 years with that band, the band dispersed and Doug returned to his first musical love, drumming. After a few years of getting back behind the drums, he began to miss the vocals and guitar playing and began to work on his solo act.
