Event Description
All community members are welcome to join us as we honour Nex Benedict, and call on doing better for our youth. The vigil will be held on March 28th from 6-8pm at Market Square. There will be speakers, singing, and a community care table. Nex was a 16 year old, non-binary, Indigenous (Choctaw) teen who died as a result of anti-trans violence and growing hateful rhetoric, policies and action.
