Few bands can blend melody, groove and mood like Ross Vegas. Formed in 2002 by frontman Tim Bourchier, the Vancouver-based group has toured extensively throughout the Pacific Northwest, and will shortly release their debut album, Flow. Flow meshes resonant vocals, pulsing rhythms, and a soulful ambience. The result is a sound that is cooly grooving with a nice bit of grit around the edges. Ross Vegas's sound touches on a variety of styles, fusing R&B, rock, pop, folk and a puff of reggae. Local rocker chic Nicola Linde will be opening the night with a bang.
