Live Wire Music Series is honoured to welcome back Canadian legend Valdy to our stage for the second concert in our series on October 27. One of Canada's most influential singer-songwriters with 22 albums, 22 singles and 4 Gold Records, Valdy will be playing hits from his long and storied career such as Play Me a Rock and Roll Song, Peter and Lou, Yes I Can, as well as new material – even a song about Queen Elizabeth! It has been over 10 years since Valdy played a memorable Live Wire concert at Chalmers Church and we are thrilled to have him back, this time at The Spire.Opening the evening will be Mia Kelly, an exciting new artist from Gatineau, who is quickly becoming a fan favourite at festivals and concert halls across Canada. She will be joined by Nick Loyer, from the group Leverage For Mountains.
