Herald the festive season with three cantatas from Bach's sublime Christmas Oratorio. The 75 voices of Laudate Singers, Paragon Singers, plus soloists and a 20-piece professional orchestra are thrilled to offer this glorious music on Saturday afternoon December 17th. These cantatas, #1, 3 & 6, were intended by Bach to celebrate Jesus' birth, the adoration by the shepherds, and the adoration of the magi. You will be delighted with the soloists: brilliant young coloratura soprano Abby Boggs, velvet-voiced countertenor Mark Donnelly, expressive tenor Mark De Silva, exciting young baritone Cameron Killick and rich basso-voiced Barry Honda.
