The GVYO returns to the concert hall! Felix Mendelssohn’s much-loved concert overture, Fingal’s Cave, thrills the listener with its lyrical evocation of the briny deep and breathtaking scenery of Scotland’s Hebridean islands. From its first notes, Beethoven’s Eighth Symphony sweeps the listener into a world of lively soundscapes, at times dark and brooding, often pastoral and sun-filled, but always playful.
