Event Description

Previous Zone 91.3 “Band of the Month 2019” Diamond Café evokes a retro sound akin to Bruno Mars and Michael Jackson. Led by Canadian multi-instrumentalist Tristan Thompson, this project has grown a cult following around the world blending Thompson’s own take on the genres of soul/R&B, Funk and Pop. Diamond Cafe can be heard in the 4th and 5th seasons of HBOs Ballers and Gashi’s 2020 album 1984 being a featured artist among Sting and others. Don’t miss their Victoria Jazz Society debut, showcasing some of the best funky tunes Victoria has to offer!
