Event Description

An intimate evening transporting listeners to the sacred spaces of the Baroque Era through transcendent motets, chorales, arias, and sublime instrumental music. Music by Bach, Purcell, Buxtehude, and Schelle.

Now in its Ninth Season, Victoria Baroque presents dynamic, personal and engaging performances of music from the Baroque and Classical periods. Playing on instruments of the 18th century, Victoria Baroque brings audiences closer to the sound world of the period, embracing the dance-driven rhythmic vitality, as well as the lyrical and conversational aspects of baroque music.
