Event Description
On Saturday, October 19th, 2019, Fifth Street is proud to present internationally-renowned vocal ensemble The Real Group to Victoria. With the generous support of the University of Victoria’s School of Music, these five world-class musicians will be performing at the Farquhar Auditorium at 8pm as the only Canadian stop on their upcoming international tour.The Real Group is one of the leading forces in the world of vocal music today, entertaining and inspiring international audiences using the voice as their sole instrument. Based out of Stockholm, Sweden, they have toured the globe for over 30 years with performances that include opening for the FIFA World Cup in South Korea, serenading the Emperor of Japan, and performing for The Royal Family in Sweden. Now, they're coming to sing for Victoria with special guests Fifth Street and the UVic Vocal Jazz Ensemble.
