Event Description

The UVic Voice Ensemble present a staged concept of Handel's beautiful pastoral drama, Acis and Galatea, about love, jealousy, and the power of devotion. Featuring music direction by Larry Beckwith, stage direction by Isaiah Bell, and members of the Victoria Baroque Players. Canadian tenor and violinist Larry Beckwith enjoys a successful and versatile career in the arts in and around Toronto with roles ranging from radio producer and sound designer to journalist and teacher. Tenor Isaiah Bell (BMus '08) has been performing in prestigious venues across Canada, the United States and Europe.
