Event Description

Antebody engages the ante-act of placing the body at the forefront, both by working with bodily gestural processes of felting, embroidery and paper cutting, and by conceptually exploring the questions of what it means to negotiate the body - materialities which are not entirely ours to control, our anti-bodies, bodies which tire without us willing them so, become ill, are colonized by the other, inhabit others and are mutated.Opening Reception is Friday June 9th from 7-9pm. The exhibition will wrap up with an artist talk on Sunday June 25th at 3:00 pm.
