Event Description
Canada’s master contemporary songstress Amelia Curran is getting ready to tour Canada in the new year and will make a stop in Vancouver. The National Post describes her music as “a bit like Leonard Cohen being channeled in a dusty saloon by Patsy Cline.”Amelia picked up the Folk Music Awards’ Contemporary Singer and English Songwriter of the Year for her album They Promised You Mercy last month. Expect to hear some new material as well as songs from her back catalogue.
