Experience the magic!Whether you’re beginning a new holiday tradition, or revisiting an old favourite, you’ll be enthralled by this production set in turn-of-the-century Russia. Emmy-award winning designer, Zack Brown, has created stunning sets and costumes from Cossack soldiers to snowflakes dressed as Russian princesses. This glittering production with choreography by Edmund Stripe is the perfect complement to Tchaikovsky’s glorious musical score played live by the Victoria Symphony. Treat your family to the joy, excitement and adventure of The Nutcracker: a fantastic way to get into the holiday spirit. In the Royal Theatre East Lobby prior to each show, children are invited to explore and play dress-up with costumes and props from Klara’s own closet.
