Vancouver Island singer-songwriter Shauna Janz's unique lyrical landscapes, unconventional approach, and her folk-soprano voice, has awarded her quick recognition. Recently releasing a 5 song album in November 2014, her song Redwood was nominated "Song of the Year" at the 2015 Vancouver Island Music Awards.
