Canada’s multi-award winning folk music quartet The Fretless will once again be back in Victoria for an epic night of music. Hot off their wins at the 2014 Canadian Folk Music Awards and the Western Canadian Music Awards, The Fretless are touring the North West with a stop in Victoria. In November, The Fretless joined the likes of Leonard Cohen, Sarah McLachlan, Gordon Lightfoot, Jayme Stone, David Francey and Joel Plaskett by having a piece of music performed on the Carillon at the House of Commons as a part of the 10th Annual Canadian Folk Music Award (CFMA) celebrations. With four nominations at the 2014 CFMA’s for their self-titled second release, The Fretless won, Ensemble of the Year for the album.
