The Bug with Manga and Dia Nos – Tuesday Nov. 11 at Distrikt The Victoria BC Ska Society is proud to present legendary UK producer and Ninja Tune recording artist The Bug, with special guests MC Manga & Dia-Nos. The Bug: At this point, it’s safe to call British electronic musician Kevin Martin an icon. With a career spanning decades in every genre from grindcore to ambient, it’s perhaps his work as “The Bug” that’s the most important. Drawing from Jamaican styles such as dancehall and dub, The Bug also brings in an edge found in industrial music, bass-heavy beats, and hip-hop grooves.
