It's time once more for my monthly Ocean Island Friday. I always look forward to seeing familiar faces and meeting new ones, so I hope you'll come out, share a pitcher and enjoy some of Victoria's best emerging artists. This month, I am pretty freaking excited to have Anna Frances joining us. I heard Anna play at a charity event a few months ago and I just loved her strong, soulful voice (which reminded me of Stevie Nicks), singing gorgeous original and cover tunes over both guitar and keyboard. So good. Also ready to rock your world is the talented young Corey Francis with his bluesy, raw roots sound and sweet grunge-tinted vocal styles. We're glad to have him back!
