Event Description
We´re having an All African Christmas at the VBCSS HQ on Saturday, December 7th for our VBCSS Christmas Member Special! Get to know Aboubacar Camara (Guinea) & Afrocen3 (Nigeria). Both bands live in Victoria but are from the aforementioned countries. Aboubacar Camara will be bringing West African and Guinean traditional rhythms blended with elements of Funk, Soukous, Afro Beat, and Reggae.Afrocen3 will be performing a mixture of dancehall, reggae & R&B.
This is yet another reason to get your Victoria BC Ska Society and the Victoria Ska Fest membership. If you pay it to attend the Shaggy Member Afterparty a couple weeks before this event you won´t have to pay to get in (although donations are appreciated to cover costs).
