Event Description

Come celebrate children, families, and our community at the 2nd annual Island Children’s Festival, featuring a unique program of children’s entertainment and activities focused on health, sustainability, and community engagement. Fred Penner, acclaimed family entertainer and two-time Juno winner for “Best Children’s Album,” will headline the festival. Also performing is children’s singer and songwriter and Western Canadian Music Award nominee, Shé; a “Fire and Ice” science show from Mad Science of Vancouver Island; Vancouver’s Island’s own teen Michael Jackson impersonator and musician, Tristan Thompson; and performances by local dance group, Dansko.
