This Victoria BC Ska Society membership event will be our first event of 2013. Those that have current VBCSS Memberships will be admitted into this show. THE PONDEROSAS (VANCOUVER) The Ponderosas mix soul, reggae, funk & R&B using a solid rhythm section with beautiful vocal harmonies, brass and percussion. The eight-piece band features the vocal harmonies of singer/songwriters Janette King and Kristie McCracken. The Ponderosas merge diverse cultural backgrounds, individual interests and different musical paths into a sound that is instantly recognizable amid the flurry of sonic flavours in today’s music.
