Event Description
Emerging in 2009, when they appeared on the excellent, hard-to-find Vancouver Simplification cassette, sandwiched between hardcore bands, WOOLWORM's song "Bad Thing" was a bittersweet, relatively lo-fi slab of indie pop. Now, three years later, they've upped the ante significantly on their debut album Believe in Ourselves.Fuzzy guitars and bass, Be My Baby-biting drum lines, and sweetly sung lines about love, lost and found—PLEASURE CRUISE aren’t shy about walking a well worn musical path. They were born, however, via more modern means.
