Bring a picnic (and your dancing shoes) and enjoy an afternoon of lively Celtic music at Cameron Bandshell in the beautiful setting of Beacon Hill Park. Festival seating provided, or you can bring your own folding chairs or blankets. Cookeilidh is a 4 member Celtic band residing in Victoria, BC. Driven by a passion for the timeless and traditional music of past generations, their tunes hail from Scotland, Ireland, Cape Breton and Newfoundland. Playing a variety of instrumental, high-energy jigs, reels, polkas, strathspeys and aires, along with some traditional and original vocal numbers, they enjoy creating our own special blend of “Trad with Attitude”.
