For those that have wondered who was responsible for bringing distorted guitar into the world of rock n roll, look no further than the opening of "You Really Go Me" by The Kinks. Therein lies the first punk, garage rock and metal threads, weaving their way into the fabric of rock n roll. That song, and decades of music by The Kinks have provided the inspiration for not only genres but countless musicians, The Who, Van Halen, Black Sabbath, The Pixies and Oasis, to name a few. Ray Davies is the songwriter and singer behind many of The Kinks best known songs and Perryscope Concerts and The Vogue Theatre are proud to announce Ray Davies live at The Vogue Theatre on Friday July 13.
