Horse Opera is a Vancouver-based roots-rock band whose musical mix blends country and Canadiana, a bit of blues, and a dash of soul all wrapped up in rock and roll. Their original songs feature strong hooks, distinctive vocals and a twin guitar attack. Mixed in with their originals are covers by artists like Bruce Springsteen, Jackie DeShannon, CCR, Johnny Burnett Trio and Delbert McClinton. Their sound has been compared to Blue Rodeo, Chris Isaak and the Mavericks. Hailed as "The Whiskey Sipping Darling of the Vancouver Country Scene" Shiloh Lindsey pours her heart out via her own brand of alt-country music.
