Mudjack, Soulcratics, guests The Coalition
Boom, swoon, dust my broom - revel in the sounds of Vancouver's youngest rhythm and blues bands. The headliners, MudJack, are originally from the UK and moved the great wall of riffs and harmonies to Vancouver following positive feedback from West Coast radio stations. The Soulcratics provide a raw energy that could animate a sloth within 12 bars (imagine a transformation between later Elvis and early Elvis), while The Coalition are a three piece blues/rock band that cunningly incorporate elements of jazz and funk. New Years Resolutions don't come much easier than coming out to enjoy these three enthusiastic, young bands.
