CanUS Hot JazzBand highlights of the history of this band which formed in 1991 must certainly include their invitation to play the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. in 2002! That was a first, by the way, for a Canadian traditional jazz band to be so honoured.
A hot band with smooth harmony - that is what has put local jazz band, CanUS, on the map both here and in the U.S.A.
A reviewer for "Mississippi Rag" wrote: "CanUS is a one-of-a-kind group.....with a sound unlike any other on the scene today, which is a tremendous accomplishment".
