Event Description

The brand new early music ensemble Victoria Baroque Players opens its first season on Sunday Sept 18th with a concert featuring the internationally-acclaimed soprano Nancy Argenta. The concert presents music by J.S. Bach, performed by a one-per-part ensemble playing on copies of 18th-century instruments, keeping with the style and timbre of Bach’s time. Music includes Cantata ‘Ich habe genug’ BWV 82, Harpsichord Concerto in A major BWV 1055, Brandenburg Concerto No.5 BWV 1050.
