Axé Capoeira brings Brazil to Granville Street with the 2011 Afro-Brazilian Block Party!Admission is FREE!
This event is expected to draw thousands of people for a full day of food and entertainment, including traditional Brazilian dance, music, and capoeira, culminating in a huge Brazilian street party not to be missed.
Capoeira is a one of a kind martial art that combines aspects of self defense, acrobatics, music, and dance. Uniquely Brazilian in its origins, capoeira meshes these various art forms into one synergistic martial art training experience.
