Late show: Toronto roots rock band The Warped 45s won the NXNE $10,000 fan choice award in 2009, bought a van and hit the road. Their debut full length CD "10 Day Poem for Saskatchewan " came out that September to critical acclaim, with songs like Radio Sky a favorite on Shore FM and Why oh Why on CBC Radio 2 Drive. The Warped 45s spent the winter recording with producer John Critchley (Dan Mangan/Elliott Brood). Their anticipated sophomore album Matador Sunset comes out May 31, 2011 and the Railway Club date is the official Vancouver record release show.
