Event Description
Dave Borins, an up and coming member of Toronto’s roots music/”new folk” scene, is heading to Vancouver to mix his new CD with award winning producer and musician Steve Dawson (Deep Dark Woods, The Sojourners, Old Man Luedecke). Borins is a well-respected figure on the Toronto scene; The raw material for his upcoming album was recorded live over two nights at Hugh’s Room, the city’s best-known acoustic music venue.“I wanted to directly involve the audience in the recording process, its thrilling to see our extraordinary effort reach its advanced stages”
