Tuesday, December 14th: CiTR presents FINE MIST, WIZERDZ, SAFETY SHOW, CHRISARIFFIC
Fine Mist is a new collaboration between two Vancouver songwriters and bandleaders: Megan McDonald of The Poison Dart, and Jay Arner of International Falls. This music is stripped down to an 80s drum machine, icy synth tracks, and the occasional Mellotron choir.
Doors: 8:30 pm. $8/$6
Also, Rail Ale Tuesday: every Tuesday at 5 PM we offer a different cask of craft beer. This week we’re tapping Driftwood Brewing’s Blackstone Porter. This Porter leans toward the dry side in its malt profile and the addition of a partial sour mash (not uncommon in pre-Industrial Revolution Porters) lends a subtle tartness to the bittersweet chocolate flavour that dominates.
