Co-presented by the Chan Centre and CBC Radio 2Growing up on an organic blueberry farm on Vancouver Island, surrounded by Tibetan monks, Hayley Sales has what you might call an eclectic background. Her latest album, When the Bird Became a Book reflects her fresh, folk-island style. As an environmental activist she hopes to bring awareness to important issues through her music, and inspire people along the way.
Be a part of a live studio audience with these intimate Thursday evening recording sessions for CBC Radio 2's Canada Live series. Each fall, locally-based artists are featured on this unique series held in our Telus Studio Theatre at the Chan Centre.
