Event Description

Ascension Studios and Ruined Entertainment in association with Roadrunner Records present Capital City Tattoo Convention After Party Vol. I!!!

The 1st Annual Capital City Tattoo Convention celebrates it's opening day with an after party at Sugar Nightclub with three of Victoria's most unique heavy rock artists.

Dead Eyes Open start the evening combining music with an epic tale to create a concept unlike anything heard in music today and armed to the teeth with metallic riffs, haunting acoustic passages and memorable hooks for a sound to please every end of the musical spectrum.

From the gene pool of heavy rock masters such as Black Sabbath, Down and Corrosion of Conformity and the cesspool of metal misfits like Entombed, Celtic Frost and Nothingface, emerge Victoria BC's ROTTERDAM.
Rotterdam combine the pounding beats of rock with the grinding guitars of metal and add groovy elements of southern rock to create music that is heavy enough to keep the elitists from complaining yet catchy enough to keep their girlfriends enjoying the show.
Featuring former members of Meatlocker Seven, Pariah, Desensitized and Start With The Cobra among many other previous projects, this band was made to keep your head moving and keep your mouth full of boozy beverages.
Who says rock n' roll ain't heavy?

Black Hat Villain ice the night off locking into a tight and seasoned groove, each player understanding their place, knowing when to hold back and when to steam forward with a freight train of heavy, in-your-face intensity. The impassioned vocal prowess of Scotty Tuesday soars and snarls and reminds you of everything you loved about your favourite rock singers, while becoming his own unique voice that commands your attention with hummable melodies and witty lyrics that stick in your brain long after your last listen.

Come down for one hell of a party to celebrate this monumental convention of talented tattoo artists.
