Event Description

The season opens with a panorama of Asian and Canadian music in anticipation of our October concert tour to Japan and Taiwan. When touring internationally, the Choir always represents Canada by singing selections from the large and vital choral repertoire by our country’s composers. But it’s important to honour our hosts, too, by singing in their languages. So this programme samples music in Japanese, Mandarin, Taiwanese and other languages as well.
