Event Description

The Nathan Shubert Trio will be performing a mix of jazz standards and original compositions every Thursday night at Lime (1130 Commercial Drive). The show starts at 8:00 and goes until 11:00. No cover.

Pianist Nathan Shubert grew up in Victoria BC where he began playing piano at the age of 12. From the start Nathan’s musical experience has been eclectic, with his first piano lessons covering a range from classical to jazz, pop, and klezmer. Nathan later studied jazz piano with renowned pianist George Essihos before continuing his studies at Vancouver Island University (formerly known as Malaspina University-College) in Nanaimo, and Vancouver Community College.
