Friday, Jan 30th IMU presents LOS CAMINOS CD Release Party w/ special guests SWANK, The SURF MESSIAHS & MEXICAN DRUG PATROL @ The Railway Club, 579 Dunsmuir LOS CAMINOS is a surf rock band with a fiery brand of rock instrumentals that mix twang, echo and harder-edged rock guitar with influences from the likes of Link Wray, Dick Dale, The Ventures, Herb Alpert, Ennio Morricone and many others. Their music is a heavier, more modern version of the great bands of the '50s and '60s with their own style thrown in. Their debut CD "Bullets for Bread" displays a variety of tempos and moods that makes it impossible to keep still.
