Since moving to Toronto from Edmonton in 1993, Lina has established a career recording and touring with numerous groups. She is a member of "N" and Tom Posgate's "Hornband" as well as the Paul Reed Orchestra. She has also worked with Dave Holland, Joe Lovano and Don Thompson. Lina Allemano Four features some of the country's finest and most creative musicians: Brodia West alto sax, Andrew Downing bass, and Nick Fraser drums. The band is an outlet for Allemano's original compositions and concepts of ensemble playing, interplay and counterpoint.
