Friday, Oct 17th I.M.U. presents LAND CD Release Party w/ special guests NO HORSES, A PALE BLUE & JOHNNY WAKEHAM AND FEATHERWOLF @ The Railway Club, 579 Dunsmuir LAND (formerly THE FILIGREES) - This 2 man blues-driven rock and roll band focuses on tightly-crafted feel good music, strongly rooted in the spontaneity of the jam. Influenced by Neil Young, Kings of Leon and the Rolling Stones, the band's blues-rock sound has been favourably compared to the White Stripes and the Black Keys, and promises to blow the roof off with their original blend of rockin' bluegrass heart and soul.
