Spygirl’s second full-length studio recording, pieces of evidence, will be released on Friday, September 21, 2007 at Richards On Richards. The Vancouver band worked with international producer/mixer, Tom Rothrock whose discography includes the likes of Beck, Elliott Smith, Elbow, Badly Drawn Boy, Sloan, Foo Fighters, and James Blunt. 10 songs were recorded in 11 days at The Factory Studios (formerly Little Mountain Sound) and mixed at Embassy Studios in Los Angeles, CA. Of making the album lead singer Koralee Tonack says, “This is Spygirl fully realized. Tom (Rothrock) listened to a lot of 70’s vinyl before coming up here from LA to record with us, and he captured that warm spacious sound on this album”.
