Doors 8pm / $10 The AWKWARD STAGE serves as a musical backdrop for those universal feelings of shame, inadequacy, anger, failure and loneliness. The brainchild of Vancouver-based Shane Nelken, The Awkward Stage delivers intelligent and brilliantly crafted pop songs. Their debut album on Mint Records, "Heaven Is For Easy Girls" was co-produced and engineered by New Pornographers' drummer Kurt Dahle.
